Richer social learning features added to the Agylia LMS

Richer social learning features makes the Agylia Learning Management System even more social

Category: News

Agylia has added even more social learning features to the Agylia Learning Management System (LMS) and mobile learning Apps - with fully integrated commenting and communications capabilities.

Tim Buff, CEO and Chief Learning Strategist at Agylia said, “Findings from the Learning Technology Research Project and conversations with our customers have shown that unless social, commenting or discussion forum features are closely tied into each individual item of learning content and each learning intervention, they can be perceived by learners as unrelated topics and are therefore less popular.”

“The new social learning features available with Agylia gives every learner a voice and an opportunity to contribute and provide feedback on the learning programmes they undertake,” continued Tim.

With commenting features similar to those of popular social media platforms, Agylia provides a natural familiarity that learners are already comfortable with.

The Agylia LMS is a mobile, flexible and global solution that provides organisations with a modern platform to manage and deliver their digital learning and performance support programmes, including eLearning, microlearning, videos and PDFs. The new social learning features allows learners to engage with their organisation even further - helping to drive true employee engagement.

The new commenting capabilities are also fully integrated with the range of Agylia mobile learning Apps. The Apps enable learners to download the digital learning and support materials they need, ready for access at the point of need on their own iOS and Android mobile devices - even while offline.

Whether learners are at home, travelling or working away from their normal office location, using Agylia mobile learning Apps, learners can access their learning materials and the social learning features wherever they are - increasing the opportunities for discussions, conversations and engagement with their organisation and other learners.
