BJU International migrates its urology CPD portal to Agylia LMS

Category: News

Agylia is pleased to announce that BJU International (BJUI) has chosen the Agylia Learning Management System (LMS) to host, BJUI Knowledge, its eLearning and continuing professional development (CPD) portal for urologists in the UK and internationally.

BJUI provides education for urologists in urology and men’s health. The charity publishes the journal BJU International (formerly British Journal of Urology) which was founded in 1929. BJUI Knowledge was launched in 2016 to provide accredited educational resources across the full urology curriculum and a platform to record CPD activity. Many urologists have access to the portal through their urological association, and they can also subscribe individually.

Agylia LMS and CPD Platform

BJUI is now using the Agylia LMS, branded as BJUI Knowledge, to deliver its growing resource of interactive content - currently over 340 eLearning modules and a library of procedural videos - to urologists around the world.

Users of BJUI Knowledge can enter details of their CPD activities, such as eLearning or conference attendance, and upload or link related evidence. The CPD record function on the Agylia LMS has been developed so that international users can tailor their records to their country’s requirements by adding data such as CPD credits, accreditation, verification and reflections.

Nicola Quinnen, Chief Executive at BJUI commented, “It has been a pleasure to work with the Agylia team. They have listened to our requirements and provided us with a strong learning and CPD platform. We look forward to continuing to work with them as we embark on the adoption of the Agylia Apps, which will provide our community with the ability to access their learning content and manage their CPD record, all within the App.”
