On the 6th July, Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) staff worldwide, plus managers from across central government departments, will attend the FCO’s Leadership Conference 2016.
As supplier of ‘Global Learning Opportunities (GLO)’, the FCO’s Learning Management System (LMS), Agylia has received a special invitation to the conference to showcase the latest developments to the Agylia LMS and mobile learning Apps – two key technologies in the FCO’s learning environment.
Tim Buff, CEO & Chief Learning Strategist at Agylia said, “It’s a privilege to be asked to attend the FCO’s Leadership Conference. We are very proud to provide the FCO with the very latest in learning management and delivery technology. The FCO has a challenging environment, particularly with regard to security levels, so it is particularly notable that we have been able to deliver the class leading Agylia platform to provide the FCO with one of the most advanced systems of its kind.”
The Agylia LMS is mobile, flexible and global - it enables organisations to schedule, target and deliver many different types of training, reference and support materials - including eLearning, videos and documents. Agylia supports online as well as App based learning delivery.
Based at British Consulates and Embassies all over the world, FCO staff are often travelling and out of their office on official business. With the range of Agylia mobile learning Apps - available for iOS, Android and Windows devices - FCO staff are able to download and access an array of digital learning and performance support resources on their mobile devices wherever they are, whenever they need it.
Agylia fully supports the latest Experience API (Tin Can) standard, meaning learner interactions with all learning activities are tracked - including learning activities inside and outside of the LMS.
One-to-one mentoring sessions, in addition to the formal learning undertaken via the LMS and Apps, play a vital part in the FCO’s learning and development programme. Agylia enables FCO staff to log their informal learning, including one-to-one mentoring and other personal learning activities such as external classes and events - this provides the FCO with a complete history of their staffs’ learning journey.
