Agylia Group (formerly known as CM Group) was established in the UK in January 2000 - under the Content Master brand - servicing the technical training requirements of large organisations.

Agylia Group has grown to become an international learning technology company with offices in the UK and USA - supporting customers across the world.

Today, Agylia Group consists of four operating divisions; Agylia Learning Management Solutions, Agylia Learning Services, Agylia Care and Content Master:

Agylia Learning Management Solutions; design, development, delivery and support of the Agylia Learning Management System (LMS) and mobile learning Apps.

Agylia Learning Services; design and creation of digital learning content including bespoke and off-the-shelf eLearning and microlearning courses, videos and performance support materials.

Agylia Care; a social enterprise that provides a digital environment to support Carers and improve the standard of care across the UK.

Content Master; an Official Supplier to Microsoft Worldwide and a Microsoft Gold Partner, designing and delivering technical and sales content to Microsoft and their partners.

About Agylia
  • Company founded under the name Content Master to provide bespoke training materials, initially IT technology focused. The company expanded quickly to cover a wide range of content types and subject areas.

    Jan 2000
  • Became a Microsoft Gold Partner. Officially accredited to provide IT solutions to customers of Microsoft.

    Jul 2002
  • Moved to current Head Office, just north of Bristol in the UK, to house additional staff numbers.

    Sep 2002
  • Changed company name to CM Group to reflect additional products and service lines, including IT and educational consulting services, and eLearning content creation for UK customers.

    Apr 2005
  • Opened US offices to support increasing levels of US business, providing training, reference and best practice guidance materials to Microsoft for internal staff use, partner channel support and end customer training. Launched content localisation services.

    May 2006
  • Launched Luminosity Studio, the world’s first collaborative rapid HTML5 based eLearning authoring tool. Early customers included the Royal Navy, EE and learndirect.

    Jan 2008
  • Extended UK office with additional, purpose built ‘green’ offices to house additional staff numbers employed in eLearning course creation and media production services.

    Jul 2008
  • Awarded Microsoft Premier Vendor status, reflecting strategic partnership with Microsoft around the provision of global training and support for their new products.

  • Launched Luminosity Learning Management System with the aim of becoming one of the world’s most technically advanced solutions.

    Jan 2012
  • Launched Luminosity Mentor mobile learning Apps to support full offline learning delivery and adopted the Experience API to enable comprehensive tracking.

  • Received global top 3 award for mobile LMS, recognising Luminosity as one of the world’s leading LMS solutions for corporate and government customers.

    Aug 2014
  • Luminosity re-branded as Agylia, reflecting the product’s speed and ease of implementation, and ability to support a mobile workforce. Additional functionality added to support extended enterprises.

  • Agylia named "World’s #1 Mobile LMS 2016" by leading analyst Craig Weiss - beating over 690 other solutions to the coveted position.

    Feb 2016
  • Marine Learning Alliance College win "Best Online Distance Learning Programme" at the Learning Technologies Awards - a programme powered by the Agylia LMS and mobile learning Apps.

  • Agylia named as "Top 3 Mobile LMS" and "Top 3 Social LMS" for 2017 by leading analyst Craig Weiss.
